    Wonderful

“Man who understands statistics gets frustrated at lunatic conspiracy theorist; film at 11″

  3. JuliaM says:

More a case of ‘man who views everyone else as mildly retarded compared to his own obvious towering intellect loses it when challenged’…

  4. Barman says:

Hats off to the congressman - I’d vote for him!

  5. John Galt says:

More like “man who is elected to represent the people of his state asks for a reasonable explanation for why unemployment figures have reduced dramatically where corresponding figures remain largely unchanged”.

I think that sounds like a reasonable request.

However, I’ve always believed that this sort of thing brings out the bias in the interviewers more than the interviewees - how many biased BBC interviews have you seen doing the same?

  6. Lynne says:

Well that put the retard presenter in his place. Why aren’t there more politicians like that?

  7. Paul Marks says:

The man who understands statistics was Congressman West.

One does not get to be Colonel in the United States army without a good knowledge of mathematics (including statistics).

Ditto Jack Welsh - now he is retired the governement can not “get at him” by threatening General Electric.

He said the whole thing (the unemployment rate suddenly dropping below 8% - just before the election) was a typical Chicago Way scam.

Is Jack Welsh a “lunatic conspiracy theorist”?

John the inflation rate numbers have been rigged for a long time - just go shopping in the United States over a period of time and compare your experience of rising prices with the offical “inflation rate”.

So if they rig the inflation rate numbers (which they obviously do) - why not rig the unemployment statistics as well?

After all anyone who calls them on it is going to be called a “lunatic conspiracy theorist”.

The United States is fast turning into Argentina.

If Barack is reelected GET OUT.

Get out - even if you have to sell all your assets at fire sale prices.
