Putin in 2009 outlined his strategy for economic success. Alas, poor Obama did the opposite but nevertheless was re-elected. Bye, bye Miss American Pie. The Communists have won in America with Obama but failed miserably in Russia with Zyuganov who only received 17% of the vote. Vladimir Putin was re-elected as President keeping the NWO order out of Russia while America continues to repeat the Soviet mistake.

Fascinating, not unlike Reagan, the rhetoric is there, even if the reality differs. I need to look at some stats for Russia.
Cats,
You are quoting from Pravda? Seriously, from Tsar Vladimir’s in-house propaganda rag?
Jesus wept.
Nick,
That it is from Pravda is the entire point.
Some of the Russian stuff is okay. RT is worth watching for foreign news. They mostly stay off Russian coverage on account of not wanting to be murdered I suspect. But ‘capital account’ with Lauren Lyster* is excellent financial reporting and their coverage of Syria is the alternate version of the Western news. That and there is no celeb dross or marketing disguised as news.
* O/T but very agreeable indeed.
Russian Television is a complex mixture of truth and lies (not mistakes - actual lies).
I remember doing a post on Max Keiser pointing this out.
As for Putin - he is, of course, no free market person.
He attacks any businessman who does not play ball with him - if Obama had as much power as Putin the Koch brothers would already be in prison (or worse).
Also Putin is a big spending - although that is true of just about every government on Earth.
However, (and here is the mistake that a lot of people make) because Pravda is lying about Putin - it does not mean they are lying about everything. Just as RT can lie about some things - and tell the truth about other things (mixing it all together).
Their account of Barack Obama (even if presented as a semijoke) is actually close to the mark.
