So if in a few years time temperatures go up and we have ‘the warmest summer on record’ you will suddenly think that man-made global warming is a reality? I don’t think so. So why sound so smug when temperatures go down?
I have noticed a few posts commenting on local weather fluctuatings and chortling over how they disprove man-made global warming predictions and of course they dont. No more than one hot summer proves it.
It has nothing to do with fluctuations, it is that all the major ‘predictions’ are failing to be observed:
No tropospheric hotspot.
Water vapor does not provide a positive feedback, it provides a negative one.
Warming ceased by 2002, and globe is now cooling.
Seas are cooling since Argo monitoring started in 2003
Seas have not risen since 2003.
Antarctic ice is expanding - long term.
Arctic ice has recovered.
These are 6 - 7 year trends, and they are all contrary to IPCC global warming hypothesis. They are not 1 to 2 year weather fluctuations.
