Remember all the comparisons between Barry and JFK? Two minutes into his presidency the US MSM were orgasming about Camelot.

Well, think about it. Was Kennedy memorable because he was young and photogenic? Or was he memorable because he was a great men?

Ask yourself, would the bloke sucking up to Chavez, Putin, the Castro brothers and Zelaya be caught dead saying this?

We will support any friend and oppose any foe to assure the survival and success of liberty

Fat chance.

  1. El Draque says:

Just shows how much politics is image rather than actuality.

JFK was a right-wing Democrat who campaigned on an nuclear arms build-up against the Soviets, invaded Cuba and got into Vietnam.

He also tried to ban Sammy Davis Junior from the White House, failed and then made sure the publicity photos omitted him (I believe Sammy had a white wife, am not sure). Southern states had voted him in.

    Camelot my hind leg . . . .

    A good post.

On the comment – I did not know that.

If true it makes me think worse of JFK (I am fairly neutral towards the man normally).

Even back in the early 1920′s Warren Harding had no problem inviting black people to the Whitehouse and being photographed with them – but then Harding was a bad man “Teapot Dome” and all that.

And a comparison of “Teapot Dome” to the endless corruption of the F.D.R. and Harry Truman period?

“Shut up, shut up, shut up”.
