In one of those crappy “Inovations” magazines I recently saw an ad for a perpetual motion machine. Yup. In very small print at the bottom it said, “requires 2 AA batteries - not included”.
He points to solar panels on his roof, and to his driveway, 300 feet beneath which seven geothermal wells gather the planet’s warmth to heat and cool his house.
Yes they are cheap as chips already!
I had some Irish travelling gentlemen call, offering to install all those for me, for a mere ten grand, only the other day…

But you are a mere pleb! I recall some geezer going “windy Miller” on the basis that he could sell ‘tricity back to the ol’ grid. What they didn’t tell him was that he’d need a fair whack of high-end electrical engineering to do it. Up-shot was he’d be pushing Methusallah by the time it had paid for itself.
The economics are deranged.
Here is an even better one. A Finnish company he invested in has been given $500 million by the US government to build an eco-car, competing with General Motors & WHICH HASN’T EVEN BEEN DESIGNED YET.
