I have been monitoring the MSN pretty closely since the story broke, to find their take on it, and with just a few notable exceptions, it has been one of sticking their fingers in their ears and going la la la cant hear you!
The Mail had an article by Christopher Booker yesterday covering all the ground, but the curious thing about that is that he is a Telegraph columnist, yet his Telegraph column on sunday had no mention of it.
Newsnight opened with the CRU story last night with a warm monger in the studio, and a very quietly spoken chap from the University of Virginia via satallite.
Needless to say as the gent from Virginia was hitting his stride, Paxo interupted him.
He very politely managed to point out that to say the least, the emails prove that some very sloppy science has been going on, and called for an enquiry.
Then Newsnight spent 4 times the timespace trying to stick up the Tories for their new grouping in the EU Parliament (as if it mattered a fuckin Jot!)
The Times has mentioned it only twice, Lord Lawson yesterday, who is setting up a Think Tank to review the evidence and bring balance to the subject, and then there is this cunt today…

Glenn Beck may not be able to pronounce a word he has never heard spoken - but he (and other people on Fox News) did report the story.
ABC did not.
CBS did not.
CNN did not.
NBC did not.
And, of course, MSNBC - did not.

I get the impression Booker’s Telegraph column is written a good few days in advance, so it was probably filed either before the story really broke, or at least before it was clear that the leak seems to be genuine. I would suspend judgement until this Sunday, although it wouldn’t be the first time he’s been censored.
