More warming records

via Greenie Watch -

The coldest Alaskan summer ever? Well, still to be determined, but the distinct possibility is there.

Right now the so-called summer of ’08 is on pace to produce the fewest days ever recorded in which the temperature in Anchorage managed to reach 65 degrees.

(…)

This year, however — with the summer more than half over — there have been only seven 65-degree days so far.

(…)

“It’s probably going to go down as the summer with the least number of 65-degree days.”

Yeah, yeah, I know. Everything is evidence of Global Warming, even multi year trends of cooling.

    Cats,
I dunno. I don’t like using just the last few years as a stick to beat the Greens with. Not when there’s better ones like… Well, like everything. What I think really bothers me about the AGW mob is their bizarre belief that if us Brits were to “go green” it would make the blindest bit of difference considering Chinese and Indian industrialization. That is aspirin for a brain-tumour territory. It’s things like that that convince me greenery is a religious/moral issue and not a practical or scientific one. The world might go to hell in a handcart but I’m pure as the driven snow is a bizarrely seflish attitude.

Yeah, I know, a year or so does not a trend make. However, atmospheric warming stopped six years ago, and combining that with ocean cooling, no significant antarctic warming, at all, and the lack of any carbon warming signature in the atmosphere, at all, well. I think we got a good and improving case and they got a bad and declining case.

This year is the year the cat fight starts, and within twelve months the goristas will be hysterical.

I certainly buy your parting shot. Remember my equations of Global Warming?
