Believe a word the MSN has to say? Are you insane?

Did you know Sarah Palin is on a bus tour of the USA? Protesting ObamaCare? A short clip from CNN on Ms Palin’s first stop, in Harry Reid’s back yard.

Hundreds of people, at least dozens of people - we haven’t gotten a count of how many people turned out there

Hundreds of people? Maybe dozens?

They sure about that?

Traffic, people still trying to get in, an hour and a half after the get together started.

At least dozens?

I’d say at least a thousand. I am an expert on crowds.
The bloody CNN commentator woman would have struggled to hold down a job as a British Rail station announcer in the old days, sheesh!

  2. Bod says:

I’m well-disposed to Palin, although I suspect that if you strip away all the rhetoric, she’s probably only mediocre politician material, but the wonderful, powerful thing about her is that she drives the animated US left into blind, yet incandescent rage.

The only thing she could do that would be OK with these people is to die a gruesome death at the hands of some christainist-survivalist militiamen after being ravaged by gangs of illegal immigrants. She’s a perfect canary in the US Political Coalmine. Even if she’s not slated for office, the GOP should be taking very detailed notes on how the press and the left behave when she speaks, and their reactions to what she says, and should seek to emulate that success.

It’s gratifying that someone who really isn’t all that radical by US standards can cause so much psychological pain to my enemies by her mere existance. Add to the fact she’s (obviously) a woman. It’s a shame she isn’t 1/2 Inuit or the lovechild of Clarence Thomas, because she’d be just perfect. She’s a weapon of mass hysterical destruction, and she deserves props for that.

Despite all the assumptions about her suitability (or otherwise) for high office, I can’t help believing that a Congress with 200-300 Palins in it would be a far better place than the one we already have, but that would be faint praise indeed.

A thousand? I’d say a great more than that.

  4. RAB says:

Sorry cats, I concentrated on the video, which has a rather narrow perspective.

Looking more at the aerial shots there must have been 10 to 15 thousand or more there.
    I have been in crowds of 200, 500, 2000, 50,000 up to 500,000.

But the CNN bitch is just doing her dismissive job as per her contract, regarding Palin.

    Looks like Woodstock to me.
