Remember Claire Short’s claim about how only the UN has moral authority to distribute aid following the tsunami? You know, when she implied that she would rather see people starve than the US providing support? Back when the US and Australia jumped in to help while the UN and EU sat there with their collective thumbs plugging their arses?

Here’s yet another example of that great moral authority in action.

  1. RAB says:

Time this Tower of Babel was torn down again isn’t it?

It should go the way of the League of Nations.

  2. Paul Marks says:

Those who put their faith in the United Nations “build their house on sand” – indeed quicksand.

    I agree with RAB.

  3. John B says:

    Hillel Neuer shows great courage.
It is amazing that such profound “double standards” exist and no-one has really come up with a convincing explanation as to why, and more importantly, why sane people do not effectively reject the madness.
RAB is correct, but why is it still there?
It does not make sense, this consensus of madness, and that ordinary folk like you and me, actually allow it to continue and do not question the rationale of our “leaders”, who allow it to continue.

  4. CountingCats says:

John, why is it still there? That is easy, typical leftish wishful thinking puts the ideal of the UN above the corrupt reality. That plus the utility of having so many representatives in one place for behind the scenes interaction.

  5. Lynne says:

Don’t forget the UN’s UK based propaganda arm – the BBC. They push this grossly biased agenda and there are still deluded souls who believe the BBC delivers a neutral, unbiased viewpoint.
