As far as I can make out, my server was hacked yesterday.
CCinZ was largely left intact, but the server it is running on had a large, a very large, number of the configurations changed, but in such a way that they only became obvious over time. Fix one problem and another, previously unknown, manifests.
Sigh.
Well, it’s back.

Ah! I was wondering what was up…
Welcome back!
Just shows how much of a loose end I found myself yesterday morning when I say I was reduced to suggesting to my wife that we go out for a walk. And we did.
Well, if you will use a Windows server…
Yeah, yeah. Believe it or not, I agree.
It’s a FreeBSD virtual server hosted on Server 2003 running ISA Server. This setup allows me to run multiple independent virtual servers with ISA working as a level seven switch, directing http requests to specific servers based on the FQDN, and allowing me to migrate VMs from host to host as required without otherwise reconfiguring anything.
Otherwise? Point me to a free/cheap Unix based product which has the functionality of ISA Server and I will switch to FreeBSD or Solaris as the firewall in a trice.
Gawd there he goes talking klingon again!
Shall we have a whip round for new gaffa tape, sealing wax and string, or what?
Yep…….ruined my day, as I had to keep checking.
Glad to see you back. Today is good….have a similar!
I thought you’d maybe run out of coal, or somebody had cut the string. Good to see it all up again.
And there was me taking a hammer to my serially crap BT router!
