   I dunno. Seems like they can kill whoever they want for whatever reason with a variety of handy excuses; maybe he pissed off the wrong official. Or he got caught and couldn’t bribe his way out of the situation and needed to be made an example of to keep the people under control.

   But you’re probably right: they really are crazy in a way I find it difficult to imagine and really do think it’s important to seek out and kill gay people.

   Rob has a point. The amount of corruption in such a demented system must be mind-numbing. Cats has a point too though. They really are that insane and vicious.

   The point at which the religious police et al really, utterly, jumped the shark was when they started “arresting” shop-window mannequins for “inappropriate hijab”. We in the West have our own similar types. They prosecute people for overfilling wheelie bins and X-Ray shoes at airports.

   Yes, the TSA and the “five-a-day co-cordinators” are the flip side of the “promotion of virtue and prohibition of vice” mob in Iran or Shoddy Absurdia.

   But basically. Short version. I wanna call the leftist “Don’t Bomb Iran” activists (Bush is the worst terrorist in history etc) on this. I wanna call them on raising Cain over Bush being anti-gay marriage but turning a blind eye to the Mullahs hanging homosexuals. I wanna call them on their hypocrisy, they’re pig-headed Westerphobia and their plain rottenness.
