It’s what they don’t say…

I was watching the BBC news at tea time last night - yeah I know but it does have entertainment value. Breaking news had come in regarding the attempted bombing of a Baltimore military base. A suspect had been arrested but the BBC was not at liberty to release further details of the wannabe bomber because they were constrained by legalities due to the ongoing FBI investigation.  And this little factoid was delivered with a Very Straight Face.   This, I have come to recognise, is BBC codespeak for don’t tell them it’s a Muslim.  Naturally I wanted to confirm my suspicions.

Five seconds of Googling found this.

The details were released via a joint FBI-Department of Justice press release and obviously the story was on the net in advance of the BBC’s “breaking news” claim.  On the first line of the first paragraph is the name of the man arrested - Antonio Martinez, aka Muhammad Hussein - a Muslim convert.  Well you could have knocked me down with a feather.  A convert to the religion of peace is responsible?  Well I never!

The lying cunts at the BBC really do believe we are all fucking stupid don’t they…

    A very good post Lynne.

They are not makeing honest mistakes - they (the BBC and so on) are lying scum.

Yep - Biased BBC or someone should keep a trove of this stuff.

Last year I sat in my hotel room one evening catching up on emails with BBC World on as aural wallpaper and went from “erm… what was that?” to “Oh, I didn’t hear wrong ferfecks sake” to “Jeez these people are blithering morons” as a bubbly camp chappie repeated that “rain has caused landslides in Rio de Janeiro in Argentina” three times at 15 min intervals.

So, on this and much other evidence of my own eyes and ears I’d like to suggest that they aren*ignorant* lying scum
